YOU GOTTA BELIEVE is based on the inspiring true story of one team’s transformational journey from district underdog to taking its place in the Little League record books. After dedicating the season to a teammate’s ailing father, a group of underestimated youth baseball players from Fort Worth, Texas, takes its Cinderella run all the way to the 2002 Little League World Series—culminating in a record-breaking showdown that became an instant ESPN classic.

'You Gotta Believe' tells the story of Bobby Ratliff and Jon Kelly who together manage a little league team in Fort Worth, Texas. The team was bad to say the least but when offered a chance to play in the Little League World Series they will have to work harder than ever before and find a reason to want to win. That comes in the form of Bobby Ratliff's cancer diagnosis. Now the families and those that live in the area will bond together to give this team of amazing kids the courage and confidence they need.

What an amazing film this is. It is an inspirational story of over coming the odds and giving the best you have for each other. Life lessons are learned and it brings back memories of being a child again. Director, Ty Roberts does an amazing job telling the story written by Lane Garrison. He doesn't hold back on bringing and the emotions and his cast of talented actors including, Luke Wilson, Greg Kinnear, Sarah Gadon, Lew Temple, Etienne Kellici, Molly Parker and Michael Cash. But don't let me forget the incredibly talented child actors who stand toe to toe with their fantastic adult co-stars.

'You Gotta Believe' is a story about believing in yourself. It will have you laughing out loud and crying as well so remember to take tissues with you when you go to see the film in Theaters on 8/30. Its an inspirational tale that is sure to bring us all together. The film loads the bases and hits a grand slam and its a film to get behind and support so be sure to check out if it will be playing in your area and if so gather up the clan and go see one the the best films this year.
