Sprinkles is a short psychological drama/thriller written and directed by Roger A. Scheck (NOBODY LOVES ALICE) and stars Brooke Lewis (iMURDERS) and Don Danielson (BOXES). High-priced call girl, Maura (Brooke Lewis), has a seemingly chance encounter with a client, Gary (Don Danielson), while on a business trip. When Gary turns violent in the midst of their exchange, Maura’s fear slips away as she realizes that Gary has a dirty little secret fetish. Maura, with a secret of her own, reveals that this encounter may not be a random occurrence, but a calculated attempt to avenge a man from sprinkles of her past. Gary learns that he is getting a lot more than he paid for.

"Sprinkles" is a short film only a ten minute run time but Writer/Director, Roger A. Scheck packs more drama, suspense and tension in that short period of time than most Hollywood feature films have in their entire run time. The story is a simple one about revenge on someone that did harm to you in the past. Set in one room with two characters the film grabs you by the throat right from it's opening scene and never lets go till the very end. Brooke Lewis is a real beauty with loads of talent, she is terrific as Maura and Don Danielson is just as good as Gary, a man with a violent temper who is about to be set straight.
One thing that really stuck out to me besides the amazing performances was the musical score, it's simple brilliant and it adds so much to the film in the form of tension and suspense. I loved Scheck's "Nobody Loves Alice" and he continues to impress here, I cannot wait to see what this talented film-maker comes out with next. If you get a chance to see this amazing piece of work run don't walk to do so.
Actress Brooke Lewis just won the Action On FILM INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL WRITE BROTHERS EXCELLENCE IN FILM AWARD for her performance and production on SPRINKLES! SPRINKLES will screen at SHRIEKFEST HORROR SCIFI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL and POLLYGRIND FILM FESTIVAL in Vegas.
Sprinkles" is finishing up it's Festival run and will be looking for distribution after that, I don't think it will have a hard time in locking that down so be sure to keep an eye out for this edge of your seat thriller that gets the blood flowing and the heart pounding.
