The world of Cars takes flight in Planes, Disney's high-flying animated comedy revved up with action and adventure. Join Dusty, a crop duster with sky-high dreams and a once-in-a-lifetime chance to take on the world's fastest flyers in the greatest air race ever. Dusty has a huge heart but two big problems...he's not exactly built for speed, plus he's afraid of heights. His courage is put to the ultimate test as this unlikely hero aims higher than he ever imagined. With a little help from his friends, Dusty finds the courage to be more than he was built for—and the inspiration to soar.
It is easy to dismiss PLANES was a CARS rip-off and an attempt to cash in on the franchise. I felt that way that as well even during the movie as I was preparing this review I kept saying to myself, "This is CARS with wings." I can go into details why I felt this way but in the end it is not worth the time. Why? Because in the end this I was not the intended audience here, kids are.
I am not going to go into major details here about the plot but I can say that the film was much better than I expected. I found myself laughing out loud several times during the film which was something I did not expect from this one. So if you go with it and do not think of it as a rip-off you are going to find it to be a fun filled, action packed adventure and most importantly the young ones are going to love the film, its characters and many of the jokes that comes with it all.
PLANES is available now on DVD and Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy Combo Pack. Both are loaded with Special Features that includes:
Deleted Scenes
Exclusive- Franz's Song
Meet The Racers and much more.

A must own if you have children or if you are just a kid at heart, not Disney's most original work but it has fun characters lots of adventure, plenty of laughs and the graphics are top notch as usual, pick it up today.
