That is about all there is to know about "Freedom Force." I like a good animated film as much as the next kid or adult for that matter so I was looking forward to checking it out but sadly the film turned out to be a mixed bag of bad and good. The bad begins with the animation, it is poor at best. I realize the film was done on a limited budget but the graphics are very important to a story like this and it lets the film down. If the animation had been better this would of been a lot better film because on the good side the film has an original and fun story full of action and adventure. There is a lot to like about the story and it would have no problem getting the attention of the young ones in the house.
Another good part of the film was the cast of voice actors, Christopher Lloyd and Sarah Michelle Gellar headline a very impressive cast. I was very impressed with their work. So in the end I thought the animation got in the way of what could of been a very enjoyable film. I am not the film's target audience here and children will be much more forgiving as far as the graphics go so I do recommend checking it out if you have any young ones in the house. This is certainly a hard film to rate because of its glaring flaws but I did like the characters and the adventures they went on so it was not all bad.
