Alysa inherits her grandfather’s house following his sudden death from an apparent heart attack. She cannot keep the house so travels there to prepare it for sale. While she is packing away her grandfather’s belongings some strange and unexplained events inside the house start to spook her and she soon comes to the conclusion that she is not alone there.

Even her pet mouse senses a presence. Something supernatural lurks in the house and she begins to believe that her grandfather was trying to find something before he died. When her friend Steph arrives they attempt to solve the mystery and what they uncover together forces them to confront the diabolical truth and the evil that hides inside.

'Echoes of Fear' tells the story of Alysa who has just inherited her grandfather's house. It is a nice home and sits a top a hill which makes for a great view of the surroundings. But Alysa can't afford the up keep on the home and plans on getting it fixed up enough to sell it so she decides to stay in the home while she gets it ready.

She moves in with her pet mouse but once night time comes, strange things begin happening. She starts to hear things like pipes banging, the intercom system keeps coming on by itself and doors opening on their own to name only a few things. After she realizes there is a presence in the home that might be trying to tell her something she must figure it out before she is next to die in the home.

Right from the start I was totally engaged in the film. It starts out like any other haunted house movie but as it moves a long it turns into more a murder mystery which she tries to solve but by doing so she puts her own life at risk.

The film was directed by Brian Avenet-Bradley and Laurence Avenet-Bradley and the story was written by Brian Avenet-Bradley. The story is intelligent and creepy with a number of twists and at times it in plain frightening. The story with its twists and turns will have you at the edge of your seat waiting for the mystery to be revealed.

Another great thing about the film is its cast. Everyone in the movie does a great job but it is Trista Robinson who really stands out as Alysa. She really brings out all the emotions her character is feeling in a real and convincing way. Other notable performances come from Hannah Race who plays her friend Steph, Paul Chirico who plays her boyfriend Brandon and Marshal Hilton as the neighbor, David.

'Echoes of Fear' is a complex horror film that digs its hooks into you right from the start and it doesn't let go until its surprise ending.
