A year after their father's death, the Dedd Brothers are all sick and tired of their dead end jobs so they decide to open a family business, a funeral home. After failing to get a loan from the bank the brothers decide to take a loan from a shady acquisition. But what they don't know is that they actually borrowed the guy's theft debt and when they get a call from the Mafia's boss the news isn't good. He demands double the cash in two weeks. Desperate, the brothers try their hands at just about anything to get the cash but the problem is there isn't much they are really good at. As time slowly runs out for the guys they hatch a plan that will require a road trip that turns out to be one adventurous mishap after another.
"Dedd Brothers" is a crime/comedy about four brothers who get themselves knee deep in crap when they take a loan from a real shady character who ends up dead which leaves the guys responsible not only for the debt but for twice the amount according to the mob boss. There's a lot happening in the film as the brothers get themselves in one bit of trouble after the other and there isn't much they can do right. A fast pace, lots of comedy and a few twists a long the way including a major one at the end makes this a fun and hilarious road trip movie that should please any fan of comedy and crime.
The film's entire cast did a great job but it is the four leads who really amke the film so good. Carlucci Weyant as Randy, Tim Lacatena as Allen, Jayk Gallagher as Brandon and Dustin Dugas Schuetter as Jackson are all amazing as the Dedd brothers. Production wise the film looks great and the score adds to the over-all atmosphere and fun.
