In the aftermath of a traumatic event, Henry Sharpe, a suburban father and husband gets a cutting edge security system from a mysterious man only to find out that it slowly destroys that which he most wants to protect.
Henry Sharpe seems to have it all, a wife, good job and three kids until one day a man shows up at his door. The man introduces himself as Lou and offers Henry a deal on a new high tech home security system to keep his family safe. Henry tells Lou he will think about and it but that evening he becomes a victim of a home invasion. He then talks his wife into getting the system which includes an ankle bracelet for all of them but soon they are start acting strangely. Is it just a coincidence of is there something more evil at play.
'Bad Impulse' is a unique and original thriller that takes the home invasion theme and adds a new and clever twist to it all. It is one of those films where the less you know about it the better off you are so not to ruin all of its twits and surprises that it has in store for its audience.
Director, Michelle Danner takes the story by Writer, Jason Chase Tyrrell and creates a roller coaster ride of drama and thrills. The film's opening scene sets the stage for an edge of your seat experience. The film then settles in to introduce the Share family and other characters before picking back up again.
'Bad Impulse' is an entertaining thriller with fresh ideas and a fast moving story. It is made even better by its terrific cast including, Grant Bowler (Defiance, Nolan, True Blood), Paul Sorvino (Goodfellas)and Sonya Walger (For All Mankind, Lost). The rest of the cast was all great as well.
'Bad Impulse' is a clever thriller that delivers on action, drama and thrills. It is available now in select theaters and on demand so be sure to check it out.
