As Angela Long, a former dancer, apparently descends into madness, her family tries to cope the best they can. After an infamous dinner, their lives collectively spiral to new levels of chaos, including, but not limited to, a sadomasochistic power dynamic, a bloody endeavor where a dinosaur may or may not be present. All of the skeletons will come out at a Halloween night feast.
'A Halloween Feast' tells the story of the Long family. To call them dysfunctional is putting it mildly. Angela the mother who was a ballet dancer in her days has fallen in to madness and murder is what she specializes in. Her husband Richard is a writer with a severe case of writer's block so he smokes weed all the time even though his wife does not like it. The grandmother is off her rocker and never talks but makes weird faces. The only two that seem normal the the daughter, Karen and her brother, Stuart.
When her mother is put in a hospital to get help she seduces her doctor and gets an early release just in time to to make that big Halloween feast for everyone.
There is a lot going on in this horror comedy from Director, Guile Branco who co-wrote the film with Arthur McClen. The film's opening scene gets your interest and sets the stage for what is to come. The has a big amount of characters and as many over the top situations. The cast did a great job of playing their not so normal characters including the legend herself, Lynn Lowry, Julia Coulter and Guile Branco to name a few.
'A Halloween Feast' has a good number of laugh at loud moments, lots of killing and lots of blood. Just in time for Halloween and sure to be a favorite with word of mouth gets out. The film starts for good and just gets better has it moves along. The film is playing in Theaters now and will be available on Digital and On Demand September 10. If you like your horror with a mix of comedy then be sure to check out this film that is sure to get you in the holiday mood.
