The Place For The Latest Movie Reviews
Cast: Kodi Smit-McPhee, Ryan Kwanten, Sana'a Shaik
By the year 2067, Earth has been ravaged by climate change and humanity is forced to live on artificial oxygen. An illness caused by the synthetic O2 is killing the worlds’ population and the only hope for a cure comes in the form of a message from the future: “Send Ethan Whyte”. Ethan, an underground tunnel worker, is suddenly thrust into a terrifying new world full of unknown danger as he must fight to save the human race.
'2067' is the story of one ordinary man who becomes the person asked to save the world. I like Sci-Fi , time travel movies so perhaps I enjoyed the film a bit more than others will But even with all its faults I was still engaged and entertained the entire time.
Another thing about the film that I thought was good was the acting especially by Kodi Smit-McPhee and Ryan Kwanten. The film does a good job of keeping you off guard mainly because of its few surprises along the way. To talk about the film and story would only ruin it for those waiting to see it. A Sci-Fi/drama that could have done certain things better but in the end I have to say I enjoyed it and recommend it to any fan of Sci-Fi. '2067' will be released on DVD and Blu-ray November 17, 2020.
